·         Research on revision is absent
·         Linear models direct attention away from revision
·         Produce a parody in writing / satire
·         What is impossible in speech is revision
·         Absence of revision makes revision unnecessary
·         Revision in speech is an afterthought

Group 2: Revision Students
·         Understand as rewording activity
·         Most of the changes à Lexical changes : relating to words or vocab
·         Used inspirational words to revise
·         Think they’re doing it wrong because of books/teachers/old fashion
·         Lexical repetition vs Conceptual repetition à idea is more important than the speech on the page
